Repeater Code Plug Export

Choose the repeaters you want in your radio and download them in the shape its programming program reads: the Anytone DM32's channel and talkgroup lists, a CHIRP file (most radios), or an RT Systems style file. A DMR repeater becomes one channel for each of its talkgroups. Repeater List · Repeater Map

In the DM32 programming program, import the talkgroup file first (Digital Contacts), then the channel file, so each channel's contact finds its talkgroup. Repeaters without a position are still exported: a position only matters for the map.

What Goes In Each DM32 Field

Compared with the columns a real DM32 export carries (the same ones the portal's Import a Radio Code Plug reads). Anything not listed keeps the value a normal channel has.

FieldWhat it getsFrom
Channel NameThe call sign and the city, cut to 16 characters; a DMR channel adds the slot and the talkgroupdirectory
Channel TypeAnalog for FM, Digital for DMRdirectory
RX Frequency[MHz]The repeater's output frequencydirectory
TX Frequency[MHz]The input frequency: the output plus the offset (the same as the output for simplex)directory
PowerHigh (Low if you choose it on the page)your choice
Band Width25KHz for FM (12.5KHz if you choose it); 25KHz for DMR, which is what the radio's own export carries for a digital channelyour choice

TX AdmitAllow TX for FM and Always for DMR (the values a real export carries)fixed
Emergency System, Squelch Level, APRS columns, Forbid TX, Auto Scan, Lone Work, EncryptionThe values a normal channel carries in a real exportfixed
TX ContactThe talkgroup's name (it matches the name in the talkgroup list below); None for FMdirectory
RX Group ListNone, or the name you give on the page (the group list itself is made in the programming program)your choice
Color CodeThe repeater's color code (0 for FM)directory
Time SlotSlot 1 or Slot 2 from the talkgroup's slotdirectory
DMR IDThe radio ID name you give on the page (blank for FM)your choice
CTC/DCS EncodeThe repeater's CTCSS tone (00.0 for none or DMR); a DCS code as D023Ndirectory
CTC/DCS Decode00.0 (carrier squelch: the radio opens on any signal)fixed

Repeater data: Hearham (open data) and Arkansas hams. Check a repeater's details before you rely on them; the listings can be out of date. A radio's own settings are never changed by this file: you import it in the programming program.
